Where are you located?

We have moved! Our new location is 1 Summit Ave. Broomall, PA 19008.

Please use our main entrance unless you require the ramp. We are located just off West Chester Pike on the back side of Arrow Cleaners, in between the intersections of Sproul Rd & West Chester Pike and Church Lane & West Chester Pike. Our building can be found in between CVS and United Saving Bank. We have ample parking in front and on the side of our building.

How should I prepare for and arrive to my appointment?

Please arrive to your appointment free of make-up and jewelry. If you arrive to your appointment with make-up on we can remove it, but it will be part of your scheduled service time. There is a private area to place your personal belongings in your treatment room.

What is a Yume Head Spa?

A Yume Head Spa is a transformative and holistic approach to maintaining beauty and well-being inspired by ancient Japanese rituals that engage the hair, the scalp, and the soul. 

What are the benefits of Japanese Head Spa?

Japanese Head Spa may provide benefits for those suffering with insomnia, migraines, headaches, jaw pain, neck pain, cervical muscle pain, stiff shoulders, back pain, dizziness, and promotes blood flow and circulation to relieve stress, tension, hair loss, various scalp conditions including eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and more.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Heavenly Head Spa is by appointment only.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we do require a credit card on file and 50% deposit at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied toward your service.

Can my friend and I get the head spa done at the same time?

Yes, we offer couple and group appointments! Please call or email us to schedule.

Can you do a Hea Spa for textured hair?

Our staff is experienced with all types of hair from thin & fragile, thick & coarse, wavy, and curly. With our primary focus on the scalp, to promote healthy hair growth, it is imperative that we have proper access to the scalp. We cannot perform services on customers with new extensions, braids, or sew-ins as these obstruct access to the scalp. Please contact us with questions.

Will the Head Spa affect my hair color/keratin?

All of our ingredients are safe for any kind of treated hair, however, if you’ve recently had any kind of chemical services within a week before your Head Spa appointment, there is a chance that the color/keratin may lift during our detoxing process. Therefore, we recommend that guests wait at least one week after any kind of chemical service or treatment before receiving a Head Spa.  We also recommend waiting at least one week after having a Head spa before doing any kind of chemical services. It is best not to apply chemicals to a freshly cleaned scalp.

How old do you have to be to book a head spa?

We do accept clients under the age of 18, but a parent/guardian consent form is required. Clients under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian present for the service. Please book a “teen” head spa if you are under the age of 18.

Can I bring a guest?

Guests, including children, are not permitted at Heavenly Head Spa during your appointment, with the exception of the requirement for minors.

Is the Head Spa safe for expecting mothers?

Heavenly Head Spa uses completely biodynamic, organic and natural ingredients; therefore, it is completely safe for pregnant customers. However, some guests may be concerned about being exposed to certain herbs and oils such as lavender while they are expecting. It is always best to consult your doctor to see if there is anything you should avoid.  Furthermore, we do require guests to lay completely flat on your back during the whole duration of the service. If this is something you are unable to do, then it may be best to wait until after delivery before booking a head spa.

Can I record myself during the service?

Once in the Heavenly Head Spa treatment room, you may use your phone to record content with approval from your technician. All phones and devices must be set to silent mode, and phone conversations are prohibited for the relaxation purposes of other guests.

Do you have a noise policy?

Yes, the Head Spa treatment room is a quiet zone. We make every attempt to have a quiet, tranquil environment for complete relaxation.

What will I wear during my appointment?

Upon arrival, we will provide you with a spa wrap to change into if you wish. It is best if we have access to your arms and shoulders during the appointment so you can fully enjoy the experience. 

Are the head spa beds comfortable?

Heavenly Head Spa beds are completely flat, layered with a 3-inch memory foam topper, and single or double memory foam bolster for maximum comfort. Most clients do find our beds to be extremely comfortable, however, if you are not able to lay completely flat for any reason or have neck mobility issues turning left and right while lying flat, we may not be able to perform your head spa service. 

How do I schedule additional time for a blowout if I have extra-long or thick hair?

Blowouts are scheduled in 45-minute increments. If you have extremely long, thick, or textured hair that generally takes a significant amount of time to dry, please select this add-on option at the time of booking. This ensures we can schedule additional time for the convenience of our staff and all guests.

Can I purchase a physical gift card at Heavenly Head Spa?

Heavenly Head Spa conveniently offers E-gift cards on our website. You may email a gift card directly to the recipient on a scheduled date or email it to yourself to print as a physical gift card. If the intended recipient does not receive their gift card, please notify us immediately at heavenlyheadspa.com so we can ensure timely delivery! Physical gift cards are coming soon!

What can I expect at my appointment?

​Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk. You will then be guided to take a seat in our relaxation room where your technician will greet you at the start of your appointment. Please help yourself to refreshments. Once in your private treatment room, your appointment will begin with changing into a comfortable spa wrap, reviewing your intake waiver and a scalp microscope analysis to ensure a customized head spa experience. Next, you will be assisted into the spa bed and set up for maximum comfort. Heavenly Head Spa performs silent treatments to ensure full relaxation, unless a guest otherwise opts for a non-silent service. Your technician will gently inform you of the conclusion of your head spa and assist you out of the bed if-needed. Your appointment with conclude with a comb-out, leave-in products, signature heavenly braid or blowout style if scheduled. 

Are the products safe for chemically treated hair and sensitive skin?

Heavenly Head Spa exclusively uses natural, organic, clean products that are safe for chemically treated hair and sensitive skin. We do recommend waiting at least one week after a chemical or color service to have a head spa.

Can you perform a head spa on a client with hair extensions?

No, we do not perform head spa services on clients with hair extensions. We require full access to the scalp and hair extensions obstruct access to the scalp. We highly recommend booking a head spa in between extension services, once your extensions have been removed.

Can you make customizations and substitutions to your head spa services?

Heavenly Head Spa does everything to ensure our guests are comfortable. Some substitutions can be made to customize services for our guests. Please contact us prior to your appointment to discuss any special requests or concerns. 

Can I wear jewelry during my appointment?

We highly recommend arriving to your appointment without jewelry. Earrings, rings, bracelets, and especially necklaces can get in the way of tools, equipment, and your technician’s ability to perform the service properly. We absolutely cannot perform head spa on clients wearing necklaces or dangle/hoop earrings for the safety of our guests. We are able to work around permanent bracelets.
